National Athletic Training Month is celebrated every year in March.
It is celebrated in recognition of the expertise and efforts of athletic trainers across the globe and is dedicated to all those who play a vital role in the development and health care of athletes at various levels.
Shout out to the OM AT’s! You are the best! 🌟
A fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon elects to spend an extra year after their required five years of general orthopedic surgery training, focusing on a specific ‘specialty’ in orthopedics like sports medicine or total joints.
This allows the fellowship trained physician to become an ‘expert’ in their chosen specialty field.

Shout out to Dr. Hansen and Dr. Lybrand in celebration of National Women Physician Day! We are proud of these women, their accomplishments,
and to have them on our team. They are awesome!
Recent data shows that only about 11% of practicing orthopedic surgeons are women.
