Jim Swanton, PT, MPT
Jim Swanton was born in Casper, Wyoming. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming in 1993. He went on to receive his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 1998. Following graduation, Jim moved to Billings and worked as a staff physical therapist at St. Vincent Healthcare in both the acute and outpatient settings. He then transitioned to Ortho Montana where he has passionately served his patients in the Billings Heights location since 2003.
Jim enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic ailments while administering individualized evidence-based care that includes the application of manual therapy and augmented soft tissue mobilization techniques, Functional Dry Needling, and the administration of appropriate therapeutic exercise progressions.
Jim’s greatest passion revolves around his wife and children. Together, they enjoy abundant hiking, golf excursions, and watching sporting events. Otherwise, Jim loves competitive pistol shooting, Montana backcountry trips, and completing home improvement projects.
